One of my August Goals was to get my own domain and move from WordPress to a self-hosted platform. I wanted to do this because one of my long term goals for this blog is to work with brands and possibly even earn some money. It seems like having your own domain etc. is pretty much essential if this is something you want to do!
The normal train of thought when it comes to makeup or any other beauty product is that expensive = better quality. While I won’t deny that I love to splurge on high-end products every so often (aka more often than I’d like to admit), unfortunately my bank account won’t allow me to have every product in my make up bag costing as much as a nice pair of jeans. I’ve managed to discover some amaaazing dupes and bargains over the years, which I thought I’d share with those of you who are looking to save a few £!
With results day over and done with, I thought this would be a good idea to kick off my A Level/University series. Whether you’re heading towards taking your GCSE, AS, A Levels or even a degree, I hope that this post is useful!
After being bombarded with advert after advert on Facebook, Twitter and Instagram about these ‘two week tattoos’, I caved and decided to buy one. I’ve wanted to get a tattoo for a while now and since I have finally decided what design I’d like to get, I thought it was only right to try it out in a less permanent form.
I’ve been seeing blogs doing the Liebster Award since I started blogging and have always wanted to have a go myself. I was so so happy when three nominations came along at once! Liv, Larissa and Georgia have all nominated me to do it, so definitely check out their amazing blogs!
I’ve seen a lot of these posts floating about recently and since I’ve loved reading them, I thought that I’d write one of my own! It seems like a really good way to track my progress and keep myself accountable. I’ve had my blog for about a week now and I’m so happy with the progress that I’ve made so far, so if it continues like this then I’ll be sooo pleased! Here are the goals that I want to reach by the end of October:
Follow my blog with Bloglovin
When I went Singapore a few months ago, two shops that were at the top of my list to visit were Sephora and Etude House. I am still absolutely devastated that we don’t have a Sephora here in the UK, so I got way too excited when I finally got to go to a store. I had even made a list of the things that I wanted to buy so that I didn’t miss anything out!
Iceland is my favourite country on the planet, period. There is literally nothing that I know about it that I don’t love. From the breathtaking scenery to the extremely friendly people, it is the perfect place to visit for an out-of-the-ordinary trip!
I’ve only just started this blog, so I thought that it was only right to write a post for you all to get to know me a little better. Especially as I’ve now got over 250 followers on Twitter, which might not be a lot compared to some people but is an achievement I’m quite proud of!
I always thought that spots were something you got when you were in your early teens. That’s what all of the films, TV shows and magazines that were around me growing up led me to believe anyway. So when I got to 17 with only a few blackheads under my hat, I thought I’d escaped the whole acne thing. Imagine my surprise, then, when my face started looking like a complete pizza as I was nearing my 18th birthday!
